How to fix Window is Not Genuine error

If you are seeing an error on your desktop bottom right corner saying “The copy of Windows is not genuine” then that means either you are using the OS without a serial key or if you bought serial key then there is virus in your computer which corrupted the serial key file. If you are using windows without serial key then this is not a permanent fix. If you bought this then this is a permanent fix and would last until virus come again and corrupt that file.

I myself have faced this problem 2 times in one year and managed to get out of this and would teach you today how to solve this problem.
Step 1) First search for Command prompt (cmd) on your computer and then right click on it and then click on Run as administrator

Step 2) After that type this command in the command prompt “SLMGR -REARM” and press enter.

Step 3) A box will appear saying command successfully executed. Restart now. Click OK. And then manually restart your computer.

The error is now solved and now there is no message on the bottom right corner. You can now also change your desktop background.

There are hundreds of Linux distributions to choose from. Each of them has their merits. Some of them have their separate package managers, desktop managers, repositories; some of them are derived from others, so they share some behaviorism. It is not possible to compare each other as each Linux distribution is modified according to needs. One can choose any distribution he/she finds interesting, but there are some Linux variants suitable for beginners. Below are some distributions that would be easy for someone switching from a non Linux environment.

Ubuntu

Ubuntu is the most popular Linux distribution today. It is quite suitable for beginners as well as developers. Ubuntu is based on Debian and the default desktop environment is Unity. Software and hardware support is also quite good in Ubuntu, so you won’t find any difficulty in connecting your handset or Camera or editing your excel sheets.

One can choose from various official flavors of Ubuntu if they don’t like Unity interface. Ubuntu Gnome, Kubuntu are most popular among them. The only difference between these flavors is the default Desktop Environment.

Mint

Mint is also one of the most popular Linux distribution. It is based on Ubuntu with Cinnamon Desktop Environment on top of it. It comes with most of the necessary software and libraries right out of the box. So no need to download extra software to get it working with your files. Just install it and you are good to go. Cinnamon Desktop is very simple and easy to work with.

Elementary

Elementary OS is one of the most beautiful and rapidly growing Linux distribution. It is also based on Ubuntu and hence is compatible with Ubuntu’s repositories and software. One major point in its design philosophy is to reduce the need of using terminal. The user can perform most of the tasks without using terminal. It includes a Web browser, File manager, a dock (Plank) and most of necessary software with it.

Fedora

Fedora is the first one on the list that is not based on Ubuntu. A plus point for Fedora is that it focuses more on innovation and thus integrates the latest technologies earlier. It features Gnome Desktop Environment and rpm package manager. The software support is also very good for Fedora. It also comes with necessary software pre-installed, so no need to worry about getting started with it. As a matter of fact, Linus Torvalds (Founder of Linux kernel) uses Fedora on all of his computers.

There are several other popular Linux distributions (Arch, Debian, Open Suse) too. They are also worth trying. But, as for beginners, I’ve found that the above mentioned distributions are more easy to get started with. If you have any suggestion or query, please post a comment.

After all the confusion surrounding the Windows 10 upgrade paths, Microsoft has tried to clear this issue of yearly upgrade fee. It is already confirmed that Windows 10 will arrive as a free upgrade for one year to Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users. So the question that remains: Will Microsoft charge yearly subscription free for Windows 10 after one year?
In a staging site for Microsoft, spotted first on Neowin, Microsoft recently published this clarification:
Once a qualified Windows device is upgraded to Windows 10, we will continue to keep it up to date for the supported lifetime of the device, keeping it more secure, and introducing new features and functionality over time – for no additional charge.
So, right now it seems as if you will NOT be paying yearly fee to keep the Windows 10 OS running on your PC after one year completion. All you need to do is to upgrade your Windows 7 or 8.1 PC within one year. This means that you will keep on getting Windows 10 updates for your PC for free.
I guess this settles down this confusion that Microsoft is going to make money with yearly updates. However it’s not clear how much the Windows OS maker is going to charge if you upgrade after one year.
This confirmation comes in the wake of the fact that the company has shown some sign in the past that show its drift from the conventional way of charging the users. With Office 365 for home users, Microsoft charges an annual fee for access to the Office Suite. This has also fueled the rumors in the past that Windows 10 could be released on a yearly subscription basis.
So, I hope this kind of clears the fact that if you upgrade your Windows , 8 or 8.1 within one year of the launch, you won’t have to pay for the future Redstone and the updates following that.
So, stop worrying about the subscription fee and wait patiently for the Windows 10 launch.

Now You Can WhatsApp the Money To Your Friends

What if you run out of cash and need a fast and easy way to ask your friends for money? Here’s a good news for you. After the announcement of Facebook’s free money transfer feature via Messenger, now the social networking company has decided to bring a similar functionality to its instant messaging service WhatsApp.
Axis Bank, India’s third-largest private bank, has decided to bring the easiness of instant money transfer to your friends via applications like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, or via email or SMS.

This is becoming possible with the help of Ping Pay service from the bank and is challenging its rivals HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. Rajiv Anand, group executive, retail banking at Axis Bank said:
“This is the only application on which you can send and ask for money. The transfer of funds is instant while in other platforms there is a waiting period of 30 minutes to one day.”
This friend-to-friend money transfer takes place via the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) of NPCI and currently Indian users can send up to Rs. 50,000 per day to their friends using this service.

refference of software

Refference of Software
Reference management softwarecitation management software or personal bibliographic management software is software for scholars and authors to use for recording and utilising bibliographic citations (references).[1] Once a citation has been recorded, it can be used time and again in generating bibliographies, such as lists of references in scholarly books, articles and essays. The development of reference management packages has been driven by the rapid expansion of scientific literature.
These software packages normally consist of a database in which full bibliographic references can be entered, plus a system for generating selective lists of articles in the different formats required by publishers and scholarly journals. Modern reference management packages can usually be integrated with word processors so that a reference list in the appropriate format is produced automatically as an article is written, reducing the risk that a cited source is not included in the reference list. They will also have a facility for importing the details of publications from bibliographic databases.
